Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/08/2042 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Clinton Wigton (2 - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Ignado Villasenor(1 - 4) from Leon, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Wigton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Villasenor sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Villasenor lands a solid jab.  Villasenor throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.

Villasenor gets on the inside.  Wigton lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Wigton holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wigton steps away from his opponent.  Wigton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.

Villasenor lands a sharp jab.  
Villasenor attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Wigton's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Villasenor steps inside and connects with a left hook.  Wigton clinches his opponent.  Wigton leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Wigton's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Wigton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Villasenor closes the distance.  Wigton lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wigton hits home with a stiff jab.  
Villasenor leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Wigton tries to tag Villasenor on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Wigton lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Wigton switches the action to the outside and connects with a sharp overhand right.  Wigton attempts to land a cross, but Villasenor slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Wigton lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Villasenor's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Wigton is looking to keep his distance.  Villasenor lands a solid overhand left.  
Villasenor closes the distance.  Wigton sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
