Angel Barcena vs Montenegro Mellado

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/08/2042 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Barcena (30 - 7) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Montenegro Mellado(1 - 4) from Salta, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Mellado sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barcena throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Barcena is looking to close the distance.  Barcena sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mellado throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Barcena sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mellado is on target with a cross.  
Mellado is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mellado sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Barcena lands with a stinging jab.
