Robert Chisolm vs Jax Alegria

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/08/2042 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Chisolm (39(3) - 5) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Jax Alegria(1 - 0) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  

Round 1: 

Chisolm is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Chisolm holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Chisolm pushes his forearm into Alegria's face.  The ref breaks Chisolm's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chisolm steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Alegria steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Chisolm closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Alegria lands a sharp cross.  
Chisolm is on target with a stinging right hook.  Chisolm holds on to his opponent.  Chisolm pushes his forearm into Alegria's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chisolm about fouling.  
Chisolm drives a sharp left uppercut into Alegria's body.  
Chisolm hits home with a cross.  
Chisolm is looking to close the distance.  Alegria digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Alegria quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Chisolm advances into close range.  Chisolm sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Chisolm gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.

Round 2: 

Chisolm closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Chisolm hits home with a right hook.  
Alegria connects with a right hook.  
Chisolm lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Chisolm clinches his opponent.  Chisolm leans on his opponent using all his weight. Chisolm throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Chisolm.  
Chisolm walks Alegria onto the ropes.  Chisolm quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Chisolm is on target with a right uppercut to Alegria's ribcage.  
Chisolm digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Chisolm closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Chisolm advances into close range and lands a sharp left hook.  
Alegria tries to land a jab, but Chisolm blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chisolm lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Chisolm steps inside.  Alegria throws a left hook, but Chisolm holds on to his opponent.  Alegria is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Alegria about fouling.

Alegria tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chisolm behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Alegria.  
Chisolm hits home with a left hook.  
Chisolm gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Alegria is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Alegria's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Round 3: 

Alegria hits home with a cross.  
Chisolm advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Chisolm ties up his opponent.  Chisolm hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Chisolm is on target with a cross.  
Alegria pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Chisolm steps inside and lands a solid right hook.  
Alegria lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Alegria pivots from in front of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Chisolm attempts to land a jab, but Alegria slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chisolm whips in a big right hook to Alegria's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ALEGRIA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Chisolm is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Chisolm lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS ALEGRIA DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Alegria has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Chisolm manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Alegria throws a right hook, but Chisolm clinches his opponent.  Chisolm leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Chisolm crashes a nasty left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  ALEGRIA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Chisolm!
