Aramis Jacques vs Jacob Weatherton

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/08/2042 from Toronto, Canada:

The Toronto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aramis Jacques (18(1) - 5) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Jacob Weatherton(2 - 5) from Toronto, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Weatherton attempts to land a jab, but Jacques slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Jacques digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Jacques drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  
Weatherton tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a sharp jab.  
Jacques lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jacques walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Jacques lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Jacques quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Jacques digs in a left uppercut to Weatherton's body.  
Weatherton tries to land a jab, but Jacques sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jacques gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Jacques is on target with a right hook to Weatherton's ribs.  
Jacques steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jacques digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Jacques lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Jacques lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jacques lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Jacques forces Weatherton to back into a neutral corner.  Jacques digs in a solid right hook to Weatherton's ribcage.  
Jacques advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES WEATHERTON!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Weatherton almost instantly recovers. 
Jacques sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jacques lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Jacques ties up his opponent.  Jacques leans on his opponent using all his weight. Jacques throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Jacques is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Jacques lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Jacques's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Jacques manouvers Weatherton into the corner.  Weatherton throws a left hook, but Jacques holds on to his opponent.  Jacques pushes his forearm into Weatherton's face.  The ref breaks Jacques's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Jacques lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Jacques ties up his opponent.  Jacques tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Weatherton behind the head. Weatherton leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Weatherton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Jacques's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Jacques lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Jacques gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Weatherton is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Weatherton connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Jacques advances into close range and drives a left hook into Weatherton's body.  Jacques holds on to his opponent.  Weatherton leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Jacques's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Weatherton hits home with a left hook.  Jacques holds on to his opponent.  Jacques pushes his forearm into Weatherton's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Jacques about fouling.  
Jacques forces Weatherton to retreat into the blue corner.  Jacques lands a right uppercut.  
Jacques digs in a left hook to Weatherton's body.  
Jacques pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Jacques advances into close range.  Jacques quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Jacques manouvers Weatherton onto the ropes.  Jacques lands a left hook.  
Jacques lands a right hook.  
Jacques is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Weatherton lands a jab to Jacques's body.  
Jacques walks Weatherton onto the ropes.  Jacques digs in a potent left hook to his opponents body.  WEATHERTON IS HURT!  
Jacques knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Jacques digs in a potent left hook to his opponents body.  WEATHERTON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  It looks like Weatherton has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Jacques walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Jacques drives a potent left hook into his opponents liver.  WEATHERTON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Jacques!
