Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/08/2042 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leroy Jalabert (27 - 2) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and Martyn Neagle(10 - 27) from Chesapeake, USA.  

Round 1: 

Neagle closes the distance.  Jalabert lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Neagle is looking to close the distance and forces Jalabert to retreat into the corner.  Neagle hits home with a right hook.  Neagle attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Jalabert's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Neagle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Neagle steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Neagle quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Neagle manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Neagle pivots from in front of his opponent.  Neagle hits home with a right hook.  Neagle attempts to land a cross, but Jalabert slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.

Neagle gets on the inside.  Jalabert throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Neagle's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Jalabert is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Neagle pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Jalabert switches the action to the outside.  Jalabert sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Neagle hits home with a stinging jab.
