Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/08/2042 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Carnegie (4 - 2) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Beijne Claus(5 - 5) from Rotterdam, Netherlands.  

Round 1: 

Claus steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Carnegie slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Carnegie tries to keep the action at long range.  Carnegie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Claus is on target with a solid jab.  Claus throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Carnegie attempts to land a cross, but Claus sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Claus gets on the inside and walks his opponent into the corner.  Claus connects with a left hook.

Claus walks Carnegie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Claus throws a right uppercut, but Carnegie holds on to his opponent.  Carnegie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Claus closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Carnegie clinches his opponent.  Claus leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
