Ichiro Kusumoto vs Arseni Arsts

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/08/2042 from Sapporo, Japan:

The Sapporo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ichiro Kusumoto (28 - 5) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Arseni Arsts(0 - 6) from Riga, Latvia.  

Round 1: 

Kusumoto lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Arsts is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Arsts forces Kusumoto to retreat onto the ropes.  Kusumoto throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Arsts's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Arsts steps inside.  Kusumoto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Kusumoto pivots to the left of his opponent.  Arsts tries to land a left hook, but Kusumoto sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Arsts connects with a cross.  
Arsts throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arsts connects with a right hook.  
Arsts closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.

Kusumoto hits home with a cross.  
Kusumoto is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Arsts dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kusumoto drives a jab into Arsts's body.  
Kusumoto lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Arsts gets on the inside.  Kusumoto lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Kusumoto lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Arsts sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kusumoto is on target with a cross.  
Arsts hits home with a right hook.  
Kusumoto lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kusumoto's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Arsts's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Kusumoto steps to the outside.  Kusumoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kusumoto retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Arsts accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Kusumoto.  
Arsts is looking to close the distance.  Kusumoto is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Arsts steps inside.  Arsts sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kusumoto lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Arsts steps inside.  Kusumoto lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.
