Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/08/2042 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lucas Tomala (39 - 7) who hails from Joliet, USA and Ian Pont(1 - 4) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Tomala lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Pont is looking to close the distance and manouvers Tomala into the corner.  Pont throws a left uppercut, but Tomala ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pont pushes his forearm into Tomala's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tomala switches the action to the outside.  Tomala feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tomala hits home with an overhand right.  
Pont connects with a cross.  
Tomala lands a jab.  
Tomala lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tomala tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  
Tomala is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Tomala feints a jab, tricking Pont into launching a left hook counter.  Tomala springs the trap and counters with  a stinging right uppercut.  
Pont advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.  Tomala holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Tomala pushes his forearm into Pont's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
