John Elliot vs Farhan Hoque

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/08/2042 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Elliot (3 - 4) who hails from York, UK and Farhan Hoque(1 - 1) from Khemisset, Morocco.  

Round 1: 

Hoque advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Elliot is looking to keep his distance and strikes his opponents body with a firm cross.

Hoque is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Elliot holds on to his opponent.  Hoque uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Elliot's kidney. Elliot is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Hoque closes the distance.  Elliot lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoque manages to force Elliot onto the ropes.  Hoque is on target with a solid jab.
