The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Backlund (51(5) - 9) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Joe Bower(3 - 7) from Los Angeles, USA.

Backlund manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Backlund is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Backlund lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND BOWER IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Bower has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Backlund steps inside and DETONATES a nasty left hook on his opponents face.  BOWER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Backlund!
