Carlos Neri vs Alastair Duffy

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/10/2042 from Tijuana, Mexico:

The Tijuana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Neri (22 - 13) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Alastair Duffy(1 - 5) from Peterborough, UK.  

Round 1: 

Neri steps to the outside.  Neri sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Duffy advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Neri on the ropes.  Neri attempts to land a left hook, but Duffy slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Neri steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Duffy gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Duffy advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  Duffy throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Duffy's body.  
Neri steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Duffy's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
