Aghamusa Alekperov vs Inigo Kariuki

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/10/2042 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aghamusa Alekperov (5 - 5) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Inigo Kariuki(1 - 8) from Mombasa, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Kariuki tries to land a left uppercut, but Alekperov parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Alekperov tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Kariuki pivots to the side of his opponent, but Alekperov is on target with a right hook to Kariuki's body.  
Kariuki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Alekperov lands a left hook.  
Alekperov throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Kariuki advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Kariuki pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Kariuki sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Alekperov hits home with a right uppercut.  
Alekperov lands a stinging jab.  
Kariuki advances into close range.  Alekperov throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Alekperov's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Alekperov connects with a cross.  
Alekperov steps to the outside.  Alekperov feints a left, and then is on target with a stinging jab.  
Kariuki closes the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Alekperov tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, an overhand left to the head and a jab to the head.  
Alekperov lands a cross.  
Alekperov feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Alekperov is on target with a firm overhand right.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kariuki's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Kariuki steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Alekperov is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kariuki connects with a firm right hook.  
Kariuki lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Alekperov clinches his opponent.  Kariuki pushes his forearm into Alekperov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kariuki about fouling.
