Iwao Taira vs Ryo Takata

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/10/2042 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Iwao Taira (40 - 17) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ryo Takata(1 - 1) from Sendai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Takata finds the target with a jab.  
Taira is on target with a sharp right uppercut.

Taira sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Takata throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Taira holds on to his opponent.  Taira leans on his opponent using all his weight. Taira tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Takata behind the head. Takata is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Taira walks Takata onto the ropes.  Taira lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Taira hits home with a left hook.  
Taira lands a solid left hook.  Taira holds on to his opponent.  Taira leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Taira advances into close range.  Taira quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Takata tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Taira pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.
