Mardian Blanco vs Josh Stewart

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/12/2042 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mardian Blanco (34 - 7) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Josh Stewart(7 - 7) from Markham, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Blanco hits home with a solid cross.

Stewart throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Stewart walks Blanco into a neutral corner.  Stewart lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Blanco tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Stewart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Stewart throws a left hook, but Blanco clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Stewart pushes his forearm into Blanco's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stewart walks Blanco onto the ropes.  Stewart sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stewart hits home with a right hook.  Stewart tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Stewart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross to his opponents body.

Stewart is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stewart about fouling.  
Stewart connects with a left hook.  
Stewart digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stewart cuts off the ring, trapping Blanco on the ropes.  Stewart sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.
