Edward Summerfield vs Nicolas Sallas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/02/2043 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Edward Summerfield (54 - 10) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Nicolas Sallas(8 - 5) from Athens, Greece.  

Round 1: 

Summerfield steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.

Sallas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sallas tries to land a jab, but Summerfield slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sallas gets on the inside.  Sallas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Sallas forces Summerfield to back into the ropes.  Sallas feints a jab, but Summerfield does not fall for it and is on target with a right hook to Sallas's body.  
Summerfield is looking to keep his distance and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Summerfield steps to the outside.  Summerfield feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sallas is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sallas manouvers Summerfield onto the ropes.  Summerfield lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Summerfield's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win. Sallas's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Sallas steps inside and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Summerfield hits home with a cross.  
Summerfield hits the target with a solid jab.  
Sallas gets on the inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sallas advances into close range.  Summerfield digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Summerfield ties up his opponent.  Sallas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Summerfield pushes his forearm into Sallas's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Summerfield about fouling.  
Summerfield is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Sallas steps inside.  Summerfield is on target with a right hook.  
Sallas gets on the inside.  Sallas pivots to the right of his opponent, but Summerfield lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
