Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/02/2043 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (63 - 14) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Patrick McBeth(1 - 12) from Memphis, USA.  

Round 1: 

Steele gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Steele ties up his opponent.  Steele is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Steele's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McBeth hits home with a cross.  
McBeth walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Steele connects with a right uppercut.  
Steele gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Steele lands a jab.  
McBeth is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Steele slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Steele steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Steele steps inside.  Steele sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McBeth throws a right hook, but Steele holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Steele advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Steele holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Steele pushes his forearm into McBeth's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Steele about fouling.

McBeth throws a right hook, but Steele ties up his opponent.  Steele is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
McBeth throws a left hook, but Steele holds on to his opponent.  Steele uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on McBeth's kidney. 
McBeth steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Steele closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Steele clinches his opponent.  Steele leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Steele's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McBeth tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land an overhand right, but Steele dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Steele is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Steele's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
