Quico Limas vs Imran Ayoob

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/02/2043 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quico Limas (66 - 5) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Imran Ayoob(1 - 1) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Limas lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Limas attempts to land a jab, but Ayoob blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Ayoob throws a left hook, but Limas ties up his opponent.  Ayoob leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ayoob steps inside.  Limas lands two right uppercut's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Limas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Limas pushes his forearm into Ayoob's face.  The referee warns Limas and breaks the clinch.  
Limas steps away from his opponent and is on target with a hard jab.  
Limas tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Limas feints a jab, and then lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Limas throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Limas's ribcage.  
Ayoob closes the distance.  Limas lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Limas switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Limas steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Ayoob parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Limas tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ayoob closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Limas holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Limas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Limas lands a cross to the head, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.  
Ayoob gets on the inside and manouvers Limas onto the ropes.  Limas hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Ayoob sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Limas lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Limas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Limas is looking to keep his distance and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Ayoob advances into close range.  Ayoob sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Limas digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ayoob advances into close range.  Limas digs in a left hook to Ayoob's ribs.  
Ayoob lands a firm cross.
