Jaguar Peres vs Hamas Bagui

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/03/2043 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jaguar Peres (26 - 9) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Hamas Bagui(1 - 4(1)) from Sale, Morocco.  

Round 1: 

Bagui tries to land a right hook, but Peres sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Bagui hits home with a cross.  Bagui attempts to land a jab, but Peres dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bagui hits home with a cross.  Bagui attempts to land an overhand right, but Peres sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Peres lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Peres steps away from his opponent.  Bagui attempts to land a jab, but Peres parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Peres lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Peres is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bagui throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Bagui walks his opponent into the red corner.  Peres hits home with a cross.  
Bagui connects with a left hook.  
Bagui finds the target with a jab.  
Bagui lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Peres is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Peres steps inside.  Peres pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Peres tries to step out of his opponents range.  Peres quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bagui tries to land an overhand left, but Peres sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.

Peres sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Peres is looking to close the distance.  Bagui throws a right uppercut, but Peres holds on to his opponent.  Bagui is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Peres sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a stiff jab.  
Bagui throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bagui lands a cross.  
Bagui attempts to land a jab, but Peres blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bagui walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Bagui attempts to land a left uppercut, but Peres slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Bagui pivots to the left of his opponent, but Peres lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Peres lands a jab.  
Bagui forces Peres to retreat into a corner.  Peres connects with a cross.

Peres stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Peres lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING BAGUI DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Peres!
