Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/03/2043 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Anupam Cheema (60 - 7) who hails from New Delhi, India and Idris Eboagwu(0 - 4) from Benin City, Nigeria.  

Round 1:

Eboagwu closes the distance and throws a right hook, but Cheema holds on to his opponent.  Cheema is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Eboagwu pushes his forearm into Cheema's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Eboagwu lands a jab.  
Cheema sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Eboagwu is on target with a cross.  
Cheema is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Eboagwu tries to land a cross, but Cheema parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cheema lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cheema feints a right, and then is on target with a jab to his opponents body.

Eboagwu tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Eboagwu gets on the inside.  Eboagwu pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Cheema is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cheema sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.

Eboagwu is looking to close the distance and walks Cheema down, trapping him in the red corner.  Eboagwu throws a right hook, but Cheema holds on to his opponent.  Cheema leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cheema switches the action to the outside.  Cheema drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Eboagwu is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cheema's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Eboagwu's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Cheema lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Cheema feints a cross, and then lands a sharp jab.  
Eboagwu closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Cheema ties up his opponent.  Eboagwu leans on his opponent using all his weight.
