Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/04/2043 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Chavez (26 - 2) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Quin Sotello(0 - 3) from Mexico City, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Chavez hits home with a ramrod jab.

Chavez manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Chavez lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  Chavez clinches his opponent.  Chavez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sotello is looking to close the distance.  Chavez lands a left uppercut.  
Sotello tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Chavez closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Chavez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Chavez is on target with a right hook.  
Sotello throws a right uppercut, but Chavez clinches his opponent.  Chavez hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chavez about fouling.  
Chavez pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Chavez pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into Sotello's body.
