Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2043,  taking place on 11/04/2043 from Christchurch, New Zealand:

The Christchurch venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Kitson (16(1) - 12(1)) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Lucas Dysart(3 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.

Dysart pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Kitson is on target with a firm right hook to Dysart's body.  
Dysart digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kitson lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kitson hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Kitson drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Dysart connects with a sharp left hook.

Kitson steps inside.  Dysart drives a left hook into his opponents liver.

Dysart throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Kitson ties up his opponent.  Dysart leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kitson walks Dysart into a corner.  Kitson digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Dysart's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Kitson connects with a cross.  
Kitson steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Kitson's body.  
Dysart pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Kitson steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kitson holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dysart tries to land a right hook, but Kitson slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Some sustained pressure from Kitson could be enough to finish Dysart!  Kitson lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS DYSART TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Kitson thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Dysart away.  Kitson digs in a telling right hook to Dysart's ribcage.  DYSART IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Dysart forces Kitson to back into a corner.  Kitson lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING DYSART TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Kitson!
