Waleed Masri vs Oscar Sorden

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/04/2043 from Georgetown, Guyana:

The Georgetown venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Waleed Masri (4 - 5) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Oscar Sorden(5 - 11) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Sorden gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sorden lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Masri tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Sorden is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Masri is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sorden sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Masri switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Sorden lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sorden sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sorden lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Masri tries to land a left hook, but Sorden dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Masri throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sorden to the neutral corner.  He warns Masri to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Masri is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Masri attempts to land an overhand right, but Sorden sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sorden steps inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Sorden lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Sorden pivots to the right of his opponent.  Masri attempts to land a right uppercut, but Sorden parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Masri's ribs.  
Sorden hits home with a right uppercut.  
Sorden lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Masri tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sorden closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Masri sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Sorden connects with a left hook.

Sorden manouvers Masri into a corner.  Sorden lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sorden is on target with a right hook.  
Sorden closes the distance and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Sorden lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Masri switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Masri throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sorden cuts off the ring, trapping Masri on the ropes.  Sorden lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Sorden advances into close range.  Sorden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Masri lands with a solid jab.  
Sorden manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Sorden lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sorden closes the distance.  Masri lands a right hook.  
Sorden gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Masri's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Sorden is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Sorden holds on to his opponent.  Sorden pushes his forearm into Masri's face.  The ref breaks Sorden's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Masri steps away from his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Sorden steps inside.  Masri throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Sorden's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Masri steps to the outside.  Masri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Masri tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
Sorden closes the distance.  Sorden pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sorden lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Sorden clinches his opponent.  Sorden is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sorden to stop fouling.  
Sorden forces Masri to back into a corner.  Sorden is on target with a right uppercut to Masri's ribcage.  
Sorden sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Masri connects with a left hook.  Sorden holds on to his opponent.  Sorden leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sorden sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Masri tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sorden pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
