August Hult vs Ali Linden

Boxing Daily Report from the Sweden National Finals 2043,  taking place on 26/04/2043 from Gothenburg, Sweden:

The Gothenburg venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are August Hult (1 - 3) who hails from Stockholm, Sweden and Ali Linden(22(9) - 8) from Stockholm, Sweden.  

Round 1: 

Linden lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Linden is on target with a solid left hook.  
Linden is on target with a cross.  
Linden tries to land a left uppercut, but Hult blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hult is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.

Linden lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Linden drives a solid left hook into Hult's liver.  
Linden throws a right hook, but misses the target.  Linden holds on to his opponent.  Linden pushes his forearm into Hult's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Linden to stop fouling.  
Linden manages to force Hult into the corner.  Linden throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Linden is on target with a solid left uppercut to Hult's liver.  Linden holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Linden pushes his forearm into Hult's face.  The referee warns Linden and breaks the clinch.  
Linden is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Linden throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Linden ties up his opponent.  Hult leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Linden is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Linden to stop fouling.  
Linden advances into close range.  Hult throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Linden's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Linden steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Hult in the corner.  Linden lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Linden pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Linden lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Linden knows Hult is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Linden lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING HULT TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Linden lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS HULT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Hult now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Linden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hult tries to land a left hook, but Linden sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hult throws a left hook, but Linden ties up his opponent.  Hult pushes his forearm into Linden's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hult to stop fouling.  
Linden pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Linden drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Linden ties up his opponent.  Linden leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Linden drives a firm right hook into Hult's body.  
Linden lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Linden lands a firm left uppercut.  
Linden is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Hult quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hult attempts to land a jab, but Linden slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Linden steps inside and digs in a solid left hook to Hult's body.  Linden ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Linden's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Linden steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Linden closes the distance and manages to force Hult into the red corner.  Linden is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Linden crashes a spiteful right hook to Hult's body.  HULT IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Linden!
