Mark Pierson vs Geoff Tweed

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/05/2043 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Pierson (20 - 5) who hails from Reno, USA and Geoff Tweed(4 - 8) from Durham, USA.  

Round 1: 

Pierson pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Tweed sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Pierson is on target with a jab.  
Pierson closes the distance.  Pierson sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Tweed pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pierson advances into close range.  Pierson pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pierson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pierson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pierson hits home with a left hook.  Pierson throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pierson walks Tweed down, trapping him in the corner.  Pierson connects with a left hook.  Pierson attempts to land a left hook, but Tweed blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tweed drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  Tweed tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Pierson switches the action to the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Tweed is looking to keep his distance.  Tweed attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Pierson time to recover.  
Tweed throws an overhand left, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Tweed is on target with a firm cross.  
Tweed pivots from in front of his opponent, but Pierson lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Pierson lands a cross.  
Pierson steps to the outside.  Tweed is on target with a jab.
