The Duque de Cazias venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Neper Vala (46 - 11) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Sam De Giovanni(0 - 3) from Jersey City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Vala lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

De Giovanni advances into close range.  De Giovanni quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vala throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Vala holds on to his opponent.  Vala pushes his forearm into De Giovanni's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
De Giovanni sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

De Giovanni throws a right uppercut, but Vala holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Vala pushes his forearm into De Giovanni's face.  The referee warns Vala and breaks the clinch.
