Alejandro Carbon vs Nathan Semple

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/07/2043 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Carbon (45 - 10) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Nathan Semple(1 - 11) from Pittsburgh, USA.  

Round 1: 

Semple advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Carbon clinches his opponent.  Carbon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Carbon and breaks the clinch.  
Semple manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Semple lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Semple gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but Carbon ties up his opponent.  Semple is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Semple is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Semple drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Carbon hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Carbon is on target with a cross.  
Carbon steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Carbon finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Carbon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Carbon feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand left to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Semple steps inside.  Carbon lands a left hook.  
Semple closes the distance.  Semple quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Carbon's body.  
Carbon is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.

Carbon steps to the outside.  Carbon feints a jab and triggers a cross counter from Semple.  Carbon avoids the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Semple lands a left hook.  
Carbon finds the target with a jab.  
Carbon steps away from his opponent.  Carbon feints a left, and then is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Semple gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Semple throws a right uppercut, but Carbon ties up his opponent.  Semple uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Carbon behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Semple to stop fouling.  
Semple steps inside.  Carbon throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Carbon ties up his opponent.  Semple pushes his forearm into Carbon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Semple.  
Carbon finds the target with a jab.  
Semple drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Carbon lands a stiff jab.  
Semple advances into close range.  Semple sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Semple throws a left hook, but Carbon ties up his opponent.  Carbon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Carbon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Carbon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Carbon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Semple advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Semple digs in a left hook to Carbon's ribs.  Carbon clinches his opponent.  Carbon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Carbon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Semple's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Carbon lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Carbon feints a cross, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Semple advances into close range.  Carbon throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Carbon ties up his opponent.  Semple uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Carbon behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Semple to stop fouling.  
Semple manages to force Carbon onto the ropes.  Semple pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Carbon tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Carbon hits home with a cross.  
Carbon lands an overhand right, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Carbon feints a jab, and then is on target with a firm cross.
