Matt Steele vs Chris Barfoot

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/07/2043 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (68 - 14) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Chris Barfoot(1 - 11) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1: 

Steele is looking to close the distance.  Barfoot throws a right hook, but Steele holds on to his opponent.  Steele leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Steele is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Steele to stop fouling.  
Steele pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Barfoot attempts to land a cross, but Steele blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Steele lands a jab.  
Steele advances into close range and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Steele steps inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Steele advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Steele lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Steele advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Steele switches the action to the outside and is on target with a solid cross.

Steele advances into close range and manouvers Barfoot into the red corner.  Steele lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Steele clinches his opponent.  Steele leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Steele connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Steele tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Steele steps inside and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Steele connects with a left uppercut.  
Steele hits home with a sharp left hook.  Steele ties up his opponent.  Barfoot hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Steele walks Barfoot onto the ropes.  Steele pivots to the side of his opponent.  Steele lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Steele ties up his opponent.  Steele throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Barfoot sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Steele hits home with a left uppercut.
