Matt Steele vs Justin Flanagan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/08/2043 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (69 - 14) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Justin Flanagan(1 - 1) from Knoxville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Flanagan pivots to the right of his opponent, but Steele lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Flanagan hits home with a left uppercut.  
Steele gets on the inside.  Steele quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Flanagan's body.

Flanagan tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Steele is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Steele connects with a left hook.

Steele gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Flanagan hits home with a cross.  
Steele is on target with a jab.  
Steele steps inside and connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Flanagan tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
