Salvador Porto vs Lewis MacDougall

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/09/2043 from Charleston, USA:

The Charleston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Salvador Porto (1 - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Lewis MacDougall(21 - 11) from Charleston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Porto gets on the inside.  MacDougall throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to MacDougall's ribcage.

MacDougall is on target with a sharp right hook.  MacDougall holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, MacDougall pushes his forearm into Porto's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
MacDougall lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  MacDougall clinches his opponent.  MacDougall pushes his forearm into Porto's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns MacDougall to stop fouling.

MacDougall closes the distance.  MacDougall quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
MacDougall lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.

MacDougall sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Porto attempts to land a left hook, but MacDougall dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
MacDougall connects with a left hook.  
MacDougall digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Porto connects with a left hook.  
MacDougall is looking to close the distance and connects with a left hook.  
MacDougall lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  MacDougall holds on to his opponent.  MacDougall leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks MacDougall's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
MacDougall lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
MacDougall walks his opponent onto the ropes.  MacDougall is on target with a sharp left hook.

Some sustained pressure from MacDougall could be enough to finish Porto!  MacDougall lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS PORTO!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is MacDougall!
