Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/09/2043 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Cava (71(13) - 16) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Roderic Heiken(2 - 0) from Zurich, Switzerland.  

Round 1: 

Cava lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Cava clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cava pushes his forearm into Heiken's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Cava pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cava drives a sharp right hook into Heiken's ribs.  HEIKEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cava ties up his opponent.  Cava pushes his forearm into Heiken's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cava about fouling.  Heiken quickly recovers. 
Cava lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cava lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Cava clinches his opponent.  Cava is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cava is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Cava quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Cava knows Heiken is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Cava is on target with a forceful right hook to his opponents body.  HEIKEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Heiken now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Heiken steps to the outside.  Heiken feints a jab, and then lands a cross.  Heiken throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Cava is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Heiken almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Heiken's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
