Leon Huston vs Montgomery Gabriel

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/09/2043 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leon Huston (9 - 7) who hails from Reno, USA and Montgomery Gabriel(11 - 4) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  

Round 1: 

Gabriel lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gabriel lands a stinging left hook.  
Huston is on target with an overhand right.  
Gabriel attempts to land a jab, but Huston blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Huston switches the action to the outside.  Huston lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Gabriel throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Gabriel's ribs.

Gabriel advances into close range and manages to force Huston onto the ropes.  Huston hits home with a solid left hook.  
Huston lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Huston clinches his opponent.  Huston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Huston's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gabriel is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Huston on the ropes.  Huston tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Gabriel pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gabriel steps inside.  Gabriel pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Gabriel is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.
