Corey Hendricksen vs Paul Hannay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/10/2043 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Corey Hendricksen (38 - 7) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Paul Hannay(1 - 4) from Allentown, USA.  

Round 1: 

Hendricksen gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Hannay sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hendricksen lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Hendricksen walks Hannay into a corner.  Hendricksen lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hannay tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hendricksen lands with a spiteful jab.  
Hannay lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Hendricksen is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Hannay finds the target with a jab.  
Hendricksen lands a firm left uppercut.  
Hendricksen manouvers Hannay into a neutral corner.  Hendricksen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hendricksen lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hendricksen gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.  
Hannay tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a cross, but Hendricksen dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Hannay throws a left hook, but Hendricksen ties up his opponent.  Hendricksen uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Hannay behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hendricksen.  
Hendricksen lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hendricksen lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hendricksen digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  Hendricksen ties up his opponent.  Hannay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hendricksen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
