Ichiro Kusumoto vs Ryuu Hayashi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/10/2043 from Sapporo, Japan:

The Sapporo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ichiro Kusumoto (44 - 5) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Ryuu Hayashi(1 - 1) from Yokohama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Hayashi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Kusumoto drives a jab into Hayashi's body.  
Hayashi throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kusumoto gets on the inside.  Kusumoto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hayashi switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Hayashi hits home with a stinging cross.  
Kusumoto gets on the inside.  Kusumoto lands a stinging right hook.  
Hayashi hits home with a right uppercut.

Kusumoto is looking to close the distance.  Kusumoto pivots to the right of his opponent, but Hayashi lands a left hook.  
Hayashi hits home with a left hook.  
Kusumoto pivots to the side of his opponent, but Hayashi is on target with a right hook.

Hayashi finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Kusumoto steps inside.  Hayashi throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kusumoto closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Kusumoto voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Hayashi tries to tag Kusumoto on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Hayashi hits home with a stinging jab.

Hayashi connects with a left hook.  
Kusumoto drives a right hook into Hayashi's body.
