Jay Twaddell vs Inigo Boyce

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/11/2043 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jay Twaddell (41(2) - 11) who hails from Fort Lauderdale, USA and Inigo Boyce(1 - 7(2)) from Stamford, USA.  

Round 1: 

Twaddell gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  Twaddell ties up his opponent.  Twaddell pushes his forearm into Boyce's face.  The ref breaks Twaddell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Twaddell sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Twaddell throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Twaddell clinches his opponent.  Twaddell is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Twaddell to stop fouling.  
Twaddell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Twaddell drives a right uppercut into Boyce's ribs.  
Twaddell lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Twaddell holds on to his opponent.  Twaddell tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Boyce's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Twaddell walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Twaddell lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Boyce throws a right hook, but Twaddell clinches his opponent.  Twaddell is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Twaddell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Twaddell advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Twaddell is on target with a jab.  
Twaddell gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Twaddell is looking to close the distance.  Boyce throws a right hook, but Twaddell clinches his opponent.  Twaddell leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Twaddell lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Boyce pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Twaddell is on target with a solid right hook.  
Twaddell advances into close range.  Twaddell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Twaddell lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Twaddell holds on to his opponent.  Twaddell leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Twaddell sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Twaddell advances into close range and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Twaddell lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Boyce lands a cross.  
Twaddell sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Twaddell advances into close range.  Boyce throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Boyce attempts to land a left hook, but Twaddell blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Twaddell closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Twaddell holds on to his opponent.  Boyce tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Twaddell behind the head. 
Twaddell steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Twaddell gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Twaddell walks his opponent into the red corner.  Twaddell is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Twaddell lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Boyce sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Twaddell lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Twaddell manouvers Boyce onto the ropes.  Twaddell sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Boyce quickly recovers. 
Boyce sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Twaddell lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Boyce recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Twaddell gets on the inside and lands a solid left hook.  Twaddell ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Boyce pushes his forearm into Twaddell's face.  The ref breaks Twaddell's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Boyce sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Twaddell lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Boyce's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
