Steven Breckenridge vs Robert Clay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/12/2043 from Perth, Australia:

The Perth venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Steven Breckenridge (40(2) - 3) who hails from Perth, Australia and Robert Clay(0 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Clay lands a right hook.  
Breckenridge lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Breckenridge lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Breckenridge holds on to his opponent.  Breckenridge is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Breckenridge about fouling.  Breckenridge throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Breckenridge's body.  
Breckenridge is on target with a firm right hook.  Breckenridge clinches his opponent.  Clay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Breckenridge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clay hits home with a firm left hook.  
Breckenridge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to Clay's body.  
Breckenridge cuts off the ring, trapping Clay in the corner.  Breckenridge lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Breckenridge lands with a stiff jab.  
Breckenridge advances into close range.  Clay connects with a left uppercut.  
Breckenridge drives a right hook into Clay's body.  
Breckenridge is looking to close the distance.  Breckenridge sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Clay tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Breckenridge advances into close range.  Breckenridge pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Clay's ribs.

Clay feints a left hook, but Breckenridge ignores the feint and responds with a right hook.  
Breckenridge steps inside.  Clay throws a left hook, but Breckenridge holds on to his opponent.  Breckenridge tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Clay behind the head. 
Breckenridge walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Breckenridge lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Breckenridge tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Breckenridge's ribcage.  
Breckenridge gets on the inside.  Clay throws a left uppercut, but Breckenridge clinches his opponent.  Breckenridge is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Breckenridge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clay switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Clay lands a jab.  
Breckenridge steps inside.  Breckenridge sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Breckenridge throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Breckenridge clinches his opponent.  Breckenridge throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Breckenridge to stop fouling.  
Breckenridge walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Clay lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Clay throws a right hook, but Breckenridge holds on to his opponent.  Breckenridge is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Breckenridge lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Breckenridge closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Clay is on target with a right uppercut.  
Clay connects with a cross.  
Breckenridge gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Clay's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Breckenridge gets on the inside.  Clay is on target with a right hook.  
Clay attempts to land a left uppercut, but Breckenridge blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Breckenridge lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND CLAY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Breckenridge!
