The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jean-Baptiste Arletty (10(4) - 6(1)) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Callum Kiptoo(1 - 3) from Kisumu, Kenya.  

Round 1:

Arletty switches the action to the outside.  Kiptoo lands an overhand right.  
Kiptoo walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Arletty hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Arletty lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Arletty holds on to his opponent.  Kiptoo pushes his forearm into Arletty's face.  The ref breaks Arletty's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Arletty is looking to keep his distance.  Kiptoo throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Arletty lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kiptoo is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Arletty clinches his opponent.  Arletty is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Kiptoo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Arletty behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kiptoo.  
Kiptoo digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Kiptoo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Arletty's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
