Clint Farland vs Alastair Shaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/02/2044 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Clint Farland (33(1) - 6) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Alastair Shaw(1 - 0) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Farland lands a left hook.  
Shaw switches the action to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Farland sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Shaw's ribs.  
Shaw manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Farland connects with a solid cross.  
Farland pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Farland advances into close range.  Farland pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Farland manages to force Shaw into the corner.  Farland is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Farland quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Shaw tries to land a right hook, but Farland blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Shaw attempts to land a jab, but Farland slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Shaw stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Farland lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Farland gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook.  Farland throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shaw steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Farland advances into close range.  Farland sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but  goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Farland's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Shaw lands a cross.  
Farland digs in a stinging left hook to Shaw's liver.  
Shaw hits home with a cross.  
Farland is on target with a jab.  
Shaw is on target with a cross.  
Shaw lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Farland gets on the inside.  Farland leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Shaw is whaling away with hooks, but Farland keeps his defence tight.  Shaw lands a right uppercut.  
Farland lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Farland lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Shaw digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.
