Tom Nasmyth vs John McColl

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/02/2044 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Tom Nasmyth (8 - 8) who hails from Liverpool, UK and John McColl(0 - 1) from Bristol, UK.  

Round 1: 

Nasmyth hits home with a cross.  
Nasmyth closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

McColl walks his opponent into a corner.  Nasmyth drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Nasmyth lands a spiteful jab.  
Nasmyth is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nasmyth drives a left hook into McColl's ribs.  
Nasmyth digs in a left uppercut to McColl's ribs.  
McColl attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Nasmyth time to recover.  
Nasmyth gets on the inside.  McColl throws a right hook, but Nasmyth clinches his opponent.  McColl leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Nasmyth's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nasmyth advances into close range.  Nasmyth quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Nasmyth lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Nasmyth ties up his opponent.  Nasmyth uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McColl behind the head. 
McColl throws a right hook, but Nasmyth ties up his opponent.  Nasmyth is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Nasmyth and breaks the clinch.  
Nasmyth closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...McColl's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
