Boxing Daily Report from the Australia National Finals 2044,  taking place on 11/03/2044 from Newcastle, Australia:

The Newcastle venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vanni Rossettini (7 - 9(1)) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Danny Glen(64(1) - 18(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Glen lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Rossettini throws a right hook, but Glen holds on to his opponent.  Glen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Rossettini steps to the outside.  Rossettini sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rossettini tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Glen steps inside.  Glen pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Rossettini quickly recovers. 
Glen is on target with a left hook.  Glen holds on to his opponent.  Glen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Glen closes the distance and drives a stinging right hook into Rossettini's body.  
Glen lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Glen closes the distance.  Glen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rossettini attempts to land a left hook, but Glen slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Glen leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Rossettini is whaling away with hooks, but Glen keeps his defence tight.

Glen is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Rossettini attempts to land a left hook, but Glen dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Glen is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Rossettini's body.
