Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/04/2044 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Clint Edwards (79(19) - 15) who hails from North Las Vegas, USA and Lee Balderston(0 - 3) from Fort Wayne, USA.  

Round 1: 

Edwards is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Balderston steps to the outside.  Balderston sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Edwards lands two consecutive overhand lefts to his opponents head.  
Edwards closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Balderston throws a right hook, but Edwards holds on to his opponent.  Edwards leans on his opponent using all his weight. Edwards tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Balderston behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Edwards is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Edwards lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Edwards holds on to his opponent.  Edwards tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Balderston behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Edwards gets on the inside and connects with a firm left hook.  Edwards clinches his opponent.  Edwards pushes his forearm into Balderston's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Edwards to stop fouling.  
Edwards lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Edwards is looking to close the distance.  Balderston hits home with a left hook.  
Edwards lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Edwards sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Edwards drives a powerful right uppercut into his opponents body.  BALDERSTON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  It looks like Balderston has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Balderston's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Edwards quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Balderston throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Balderston lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Edwards connects with a FIERCE right uppercut.  BALDERSTON IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT BALDERSTON CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Edwards!
