Boxing Daily Report from the Panama National Finals 2044,  taking place on 11/04/2044 from Panama City, Panama:

The Panama City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Barbero (12 - 1) who hails from San Miguelito, Panama and Xeres Rubalcaba(17(1) - 12) from Panama City, Panama.  

Round 1: 

Rubalcaba closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rubalcaba manouvers Barbero onto the ropes.  Rubalcaba lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Rubalcaba sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging left hook into Barbero's ribs.  
Rubalcaba lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rubalcaba throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Barbero steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Rubalcaba gets on the inside.  Rubalcaba pivots to the left of his opponent.  Barbero connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Rubalcaba clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rubalcaba pushes his forearm into Barbero's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Rubalcaba.  
Rubalcaba attempts to land a left hook, but Barbero blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Rubalcaba lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS BARBERO DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Barbero recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Barbero steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Rubalcaba lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND SENDS BARBERO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Barbero almost instantly recovers. 
Rubalcaba cuts off the ring, trapping Barbero on the ropes.  Barbero digs in a firm left hook to Rubalcaba's body.  
Barbero steps to the outside and connects with a solid overhand left.  
Rubalcaba steps inside and digs in a firm right hook to Barbero's body.  Rubalcaba holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Barbero pushes his forearm into Rubalcaba's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Barbero lands a stinging jab.  
Rubalcaba is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barbero quickly recovers. 
Rubalcaba manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Rubalcaba hits home with a firm left hook.  
Rubalcaba digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Rubalcaba lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND BARBERO IS DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rubalcaba!
