Michael Killin vs Santiago Marmolejo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/04/2044 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michael Killin (29 - 3) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Santiago Marmolejo(3 - 8) from Duran, Ecuador.  

Round 1: 

Killin is looking to close the distance.  Killin pivots to the right of his opponent, but Marmolejo lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Killin cuts off the ring, trapping Marmolejo on the ropes.  Killin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Marmolejo feints a cross, and then is on target with a firm cross.  
Killin lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Killin is on target with a solid cross.  
Killin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Killin connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Marmolejo connects with a right hook.  
Killin throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Marmolejo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
