Ethan Duane vs Arthur Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the UK National Finals 2044,  taking place on 26/04/2044 from Blackpool, UK:

The Blackpool venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ethan Duane (28(5) - 25) who hails from Birmingham, UK and Arthur Burns(3 - 1) from Swansea, UK.  

Round 1: 

Duane steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Burns pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a jab into Duane's body.

Duane steps inside.  Duane pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a weighty left hook to his opponents ribs.  BURNS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Burns recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Duane gets on the inside.  Burns is on target with a stinging left hook to Duane's liver.  
Burns sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Duane is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Burns's body.  
Duane lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Duane lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Duane lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Burns throws a left hook, but Duane clinches his opponent.  Duane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Burns throws a left hook, but Duane ties up his opponent.  Duane throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Duane and breaks the clinch.  
Duane lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Burns tries to keep the action at long range.  Burns feints a jab, tricking Duane into launching a cross counter.  Burns springs the trap, countering with  a solid cross.  
Duane is on target with a jab.  
Burns sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Duane connects with a firm right hook.  
Burns manouvers Duane into a neutral corner.  Burns is on target with a right hook.  
Burns pivots to the side of his opponent, but Duane drives a left hook into Burns's body.  
Duane is on target with a jab.  
Burns switches the action to the outside.  Duane finds the target with a jab.  
Burns steps away from his opponent.  Duane connects with a stinging overhand left.

Duane quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Burns connects with a sharp left hook.  
Duane lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Duane throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Duane ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Duane pushes his forearm into Burns's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Duane to stop fouling.  
Duane is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Duane lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Duane drives a potent left uppercut into Burns's body.  Burns now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Duane lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND DROPS BURNS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Burns quickly recovers. 
Duane digs in a left hook to Burns's body.  
Duane lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS BURNS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  Duane holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Burns pushes his forearm into Duane's face.  The ref breaks Duane's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Duane knows Burns is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Duane slams a DEVASTATING left hook into his opponents body.  BURNS IS DOWN!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Duane!
