Boxing Daily Report from the Venezuela National Finals 2044,  taking place on 26/04/2044 from Barquisimeto, Venezuela:

The Barquisimeto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gig Matias (8 - 9) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Orlando Cruz(19 - 8(1)) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Cruz sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Matias throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Cruz time to recover.
