Bo Hien vs Luong Phong

Boxing Daily Report from the Vietnam National Finals 2044,  taking place on 29/04/2044 from Hanoi, Vietnam:

The Hanoi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bo Hien (30(5) - 16) who hails from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Luong Phong(12 - 13(1)) from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  

Round 1: 

Hien closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Hien's liver.

Phong throws a left hook, but Hien holds on to his opponent.  Hien pushes his forearm into Phong's face.  The referee warns Hien and breaks the clinch.  
Phong throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Hien holds on to his opponent.  Hien leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Hien hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Phong lands with a spiteful jab.  
Hien lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Phong pivots from in front of his opponent, but Hien lands a cross.  
Hien advances into close range.  Phong is on target with a left uppercut to Hien's body.  
Phong stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Hien lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hien is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Hien lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Hien walks Phong down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hien throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Hien ties up his opponent.  Hien leans on his opponent using all his weight. Hien is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Phong attempts to land a jab, but Hien sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Hien closes the distance.  Hien sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Phong lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Hien advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Hien lands a solid left uppercut.  
Hien sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hien lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hien ties up his opponent.  Phong pushes his forearm into Hien's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Phong.  
Hien manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Phong could be stopped here, if Hien can find the right shot!  Hien lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS PHONG SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  Phong now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Phong lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hien steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.

Hien attempts to land a left hook, but Phong blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hien manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Phong attempts to land a right hook, but Hien blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Phong's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Hien EXPLODES a hurtful left hook into his opponents face.  PHONG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hien holds on to his opponent.  Hien leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hien stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Hien is on target with a DESTRUCTIVE left uppercut.  PHONG IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 9.
