Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/05/2044 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Michael McGee (44 - 7) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Robert Rendall(1 - 0) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

McGee switches the action to the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.

Rendall steps inside.  Rendall sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.

Rendall manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Rendall feints a cross, and then lands a solid jab.  
McGee switches the action to the outside.  Rendall strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Rendall quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rendall tries to land a jab, but McGee slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
McGee lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McGee lands a jab.  
McGee steps to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
McGee lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
McGee is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McGee drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Rendall tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rendall walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rendall attempts to land a cross, but McGee sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McGee lands a left hook.  
Rendall advances into close range.  Rendall sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but McGee connects with a sharp left hook.  
Rendall pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rendall connects with a right uppercut.  McGee clinches his opponent.  Rendall is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rendall about fouling.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rendall's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

McGee is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Rendall closes the distance.  McGee is on target with a right hook to Rendall's ribcage.  
McGee steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McGee is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body.

McGee throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  McGee clinches his opponent.  Rendall leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
