Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/06/2044 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Phillips (23 - 16) who hails from Henderson, USA and Shaun Willie(0 - 5) from Greensboro, USA.  

Round 1: 

Willie is looking to close the distance.  Phillips drives a right hook into Willie's body.  
Phillips steps to the outside and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Phillips connects with a cross.  
Phillips feints a jab, tricking Willie into throwing a cross counter.  Phillips springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Phillips steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Phillips is looking to keep his distance and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Phillips switches the action to the outside and tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Phillips throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Phillips holds on to his opponent.  Phillips leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Phillips's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Phillips tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Phillips lands a jab to the head, an overhand right to the head and a jab to the body.  
Phillips switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Phillips sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a stinging cross into Willie's body.  
Phillips lands a jab to Willie's body.  
Phillips lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Phillips lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Willie advances into close range and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Phillips slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.
