Stephen Boberg vs Joshua McCreery

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/06/2044 from Cleveland, USA:

The Cleveland venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Stephen Boberg (37(5) - 22) who hails from Columbus, USA and Joshua McCreery(6 - 7(2)) from Dublin, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Boberg finds the target with a stinging jab.  
McCreery is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Boberg lands a stinging overhand right.  
Boberg drives a right hook into McCreery's ribcage.  
McCreery is on target with a cross.  
Boberg gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Boberg sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Boberg advances into close range.  McCreery throws a left hook, but Boberg holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Boberg pushes his forearm into McCreery's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Boberg.  
McCreery switches the action to the outside.  Boberg hits home with a cross.  
Boberg drives a sharp left uppercut into McCreery's liver.  
Boberg connects with a right hook.  Boberg holds on to his opponent.  McCreery throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns McCreery.  
Boberg cuts off the ring, trapping McCreery in the corner.  Boberg lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
McCreery steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Boberg advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
McCreery throws a right hook, but Boberg holds on to his opponent.  McCreery tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Boberg's kidney. The referee warns McCreery and breaks the clinch.  
McCreery sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Boberg drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
McCreery tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.
