Ellis Wishart vs Shaun Willie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/06/2044 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ellis Wishart (11 - 4) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Shaun Willie(0 - 7) from Greensboro, USA.  

Round 1: 

Willie closes the distance.  Willie pivots to the side of his opponent.  Willie attempts to land a right uppercut, but Wishart slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Wishart gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Wishart steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Willie gets on the inside.  Willie pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Willie steps inside and walks Wishart onto the ropes.  Willie throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Wishart's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Wishart is on target with a left uppercut.  
Wishart closes the distance.  Willie lands a right hook.  
Willie is on target with a jab.  
Wishart lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Wishart tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Willie sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Willie steps inside.  Willie sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Wishart lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wishart tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand right.  
Willie forces Wishart to retreat onto the ropes.  Wishart lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Wishart steps away from his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Wishart switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.
