Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/06/2044 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are James Geddie (29 - 11) who hails from Pembroke Pines, USA and Dan Hawthorne(1 - 5) from Syracuse, USA.  

Round 1:

Hawthorne is looking to close the distance and manages to force Geddie into the corner.  Geddie lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.

Geddie tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Hawthorne throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Geddie lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Hawthorne gets on the inside and walks Geddie down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hawthorne quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Geddie throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Geddie clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Geddie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hawthorne throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Geddie lands a solid jab.  Geddie attempts to land an overhand left, but Hawthorne parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Geddie tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Hawthorne closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Geddie holds on to his opponent.  Geddie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Geddie and breaks the clinch.
